Sam Stavish

Senior Associate

The one you turn to for a spirited discussion after work, Sam is a lover of life and all that Colorado has to offer. He’s a Centennial State native and will regale you of tales from his days as a whitewater rafting guide. You’ll often find Sam outside – on the links, slopes or bike paths.

Sam manages numerous public relations and public information accounts with a focus on behavior-change education campaigns and construction projects in mountain communities. His experience includes work on a variety of the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) safety campaigns including The Heat Is On, Click It or Ticket, Drugged Driving, and Distracted Driving. With each of these outreach programs, Sam works closely with CDOT staff to develop strategic messages and integrated earned and paid media tactics that resonate with target audiences.

Sam currently serves as the public information manager for the Edwards Spur Road project in Edwards, Colorado, and previously held the same role on the I-70 Vail Underpass project in Vail. Sam also works on the Winter Wise campaign that aims to improve traffic conditions along the I-70 mountain corridor by encouraging mountain travelers to change commuting habits, while also increasing the focus on CDOT information resources and winter driving preparedness.
