Laurie is a fearless and decisive leader. She brings the kind of honesty where she insists on telling you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. She is a master at organizing teams and making them run like a well-oiled machine. No problem is too daunting – she’s seen it all. Once you work with Laurie, you’ll find she’s fun, loyal and tough all at the same time. Laurie brings 28 years of experience in strategic communications planning and public information management to the table.

Laurie currently manages the day-to-day operations at CIG and oversees communication efforts on various projects throughout the state. Her lengthy background in designing, implementing and leading public relations and communications programs on large-scale, complex transportation and infrastructure projects positions her as a valuable leader on any public information project and community outreach effort.

From the Transportation Expansion (T-REX) Project to the formative years of the FasTracks program and now projects for Denver International Airport, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and a variety of local municipalities, Laurie has addressed many communication challenges on some of the region’s highest-profile transportation projects.
