Tekla is an enthusiastic learner, who is always ready to jump into a new project. Having graduated into a post-pandemic world, she is flexible and skilled at problem-solving. She thrives at virtual communications and scheduling Zoom meetings is second nature to her. Bringing a fresh insight and pitching new ideas is a passion of Tekla’s and she is always ready to brainstorm ways to improve a project that needs a new perspective.
Tekla has a unique, multicultural background that allows her to communicate complex material effectively to a variety of audiences. She was born in Hungary and lived in North Carolina, Florida, and Washington, D.C. before moving to Denver. Because of her diverse upbringing, she is skilled at adapting and has a knack for picking up new skills.
When she joined CIG, Tekla dove into the world of public information. She assists with day-to-day communications for Kraemer North America on the I-25 South Gap, PCL on the 16th Street Mall Renovations project, and ITS America on the Work Zone Data Exchange project. Tekla’s degree in International Affairs has given her insight into government affairs on a broader level which she is able to apply to her clients.
Before joining the CIG team, Tekla interned at the United States House of Representatives and worked as a Press Assistant for the United State Senate in Washington, D.C.
