Liliya Smith

Liliya has a passion for the art of storytelling, firmly convinced that each person possesses a distinctive quality that sets them apart, much like her own distinctive hair sets her apart from the crowd. She possesses an inherent sense of curiosity and an unyielding drive for knowledge, always eager to embrace new learning opportunities with an open mind.

Liliya graduated from Colorado State University in May 2022, armed with a strong background in communications and political science. Her academic journey was marked by the unique challenges of a pandemic, an experience that only deepened her passion for forging connections with the world around her.

Her journey into the world of public relations began when she joined Colorado State University’s Center for Public Deliberation (CPD), where she discovered her true calling: empowering others to share their stories. Through her work with the CPD, Liliya expertly guided others in sharing their stories with depth and significance.

This valuable experience equipped her with the expertise to jump right into multiple projects at CIG. With coffee always in hand, Liliya has dived right into the I-70 Picadilly Interchange project, South Platte River Trail Improvements and DURA’s Housing Rehabilitation programs.
