The I-25/Cimarron project team celebrated their first milestone with the Colorado Springs community earlier this month. Breakfast burritos and coffee were handed out to local trail users and businesses as an appreciation for their patience during the two-month closure of this widely used trail.

“The opening of Bear Creek Trail is the first of many milestones throughout the project,” said Mark Olsen, Kraemer Project Manager. “We were very pleased to open the trail as it serves as a major thoroughfare for pedestrians and bikers. We appreciate the communities support during these closures/detours and we look forward to celebrating the next milestone.”
