‘duct-work is what happens when you combine talented Denver urban artists with ample paint and large blank walls as canvases. Denver Arts and Venues, together with local sponsors, has provided funding for a group of local urban artists to paint murals under the I-70 viaduct between Brighton Boulevard and York Street from Sept. 27 through Oct. 1. The project will transform the dark and shadowy viaduct into a work of art for the remaining years before its demolition.
On Saturday, Oct. 1, the artists will be on site completing their work. Please stop by to see the transformation while enjoying food from local vendors, the sounds of John Akals Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra and Manuel Molina, and a community wall for kids to test their urban art skills!
Saturday, Oct. 1
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
