Amy Ford

As Director of Client Strategies, Amy Ford brings CIG over 15 years of experience working in transportation, education and city public affairs. She is a highly qualified public affairs professional who understands the nuances and strategic approaches necessary for effective planning, budgeting and program management.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree as a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver with a concentration in management. She has had extensive training in conflict resolution management and is a certified auditor.

Recently selected as one of Denver’s 150 Unsung Heroes, Amy’s professional background includes public affairs, communications and management. Amy’s accomplishments include successfully heading the $10 million public information program for the $1.67 billion Transportation Expansion (T-REX) Project, serving as communications counsel for a number of government and non-profit clients, working in city management for Commerce City, acting as a higher education policy analyst, leading economic redevelopment efforts for East Colfax and working with the management of Lowry, one of the largest communities in Denver. 

Amy lives in Denver with her husband, Rob, and two children, Laine and Chase.
