Food, Music and Art – Oh My!

The City of Boulder, Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), elected officials, local businesses, contributing artists, community members and the project team gathered today to celebrate the official completion and opening of the Baseline Road Underpass Project, which started construction in May 2016.

The celebration consisted of a  ribbon-cutting ceremony, public art dedication, informational
stations and a performance by the Boulder Bike Underpass Choir. The event recognized the collaboration and achievement of this important transportation safety improvement that supports the city’s Toward Vision Zero initiative, an objective to eliminate serious injuries and fatalities resulting from traffic
